Three Marks

Catalan-Italian-owned by, yes, three Marks, this is a split-level stripped-back speciality-coffee corner with a cosy neighbourhood vibe, whitewashed walls and a few decorative succulents, on the untouristed Poblenou side of L'Eixample. Flat whites and espresso (€2 to €3) made with beans from roasters in Madrid and Barcelona arrive on bright-red trays in handle-free mugs, to go with creative sandwiches (€6.50).
