One of the Barri Gòtic's long-standing favourites, Pla is a stylish, romantically lit medieval dining room where centuries-old original brick arches mingle with modern art. Skilled cooks churn out Catalan-rooted temptations such as chickpeas and basil hummus, grilled squid with red-pepper sauce, grilled duck breast with apple-and-beets purée or smoked aubergine infused with mint.
