Cafè de l’Òpera

La Rambla & Barri Gòtic

Opposite the Gran Teatre del Liceu, La Rambla’s most traditional cafe has been operating since 1929 and remains popular with opera-goers. It's pleasant enough for an early evening drink or, in the morning, coffee and croissants. Head upstairs for a seat overlooking the busy boulevard, and try the house speciality, the cafè de l’Òpera (with chocolate mousse).
