Bosc de les Fades

The 'Forest of the Fairies' is popular with tourists but offers a whimsical retreat from the busy Rambla nearby and has a wonderfully kitsch charm. Lounge chairs and lamp-lit tables are scattered around an indoor forest complete with trickling fountain and grotto. Entrepans (filled baguettes) and other snacks are served alongside wines, cava, cocktails and combinats (€7; spirit with mixer).
