Behind imposing wooden doors, this elegantly old-school restaurant with white-cloth tables, white-jacketed waiters and photos of celebrity customers has been serving terrific seafood since 1903. Freshly landed catch stars in traditional dishes such as arròs caldòs (rice broth with squid and langoustines) and 'grandmother'-style dishes like zarzuela (casserole with ground almonds, saffron, garlic, tomatoes, mussels, fish and white wine).
