El Bálamu

Top choice in Asturias

Upstairs in the fish auction building (an outwardly anonymous harbourside block), El Bálamu is an amazingly bright, sleek space that is Llanes' best seafood eatery. You can't get closer to the source of fresh seafood than this. Snack on fried squid and gambas al ajillo (garlic shrimp) at the bar, or reserve ahead for a table overlooking the harbour, coast and ocean.
