Join the crowds spilling out from this lively despacho de vinos for a glass of fino, oloroso or amontillado alongside ingeniously simple tapas (€2 to €3) of, say, jamón, payoyo cheese and, on weekends, tortilla. Plateros is the original that kickstarted the tabanco comeback, and sometimes does sherry tastings too.
Not to be confused with Tabanco Plaza Plateros (Calle Francos 1) – though that's also popular!
