Mellow, solar-powered Casa Caracol is Cádiz' original old-town backpacker. Cheery as only Cádiz can be, it has colourful, contemporary dorms for four, six or seven (including one female-only), with handmade bunks and individual lights, plugs and lockers, along with three private doubles (one duplex-style). Other perks include a social kitchen, a roof terrace/bar with hammocks, yoga, and bike and surfboard rental.
The on-the-ball team also runs nearby Casa Piratas, with five elegantly boutiquey rooms designed with custom-made furniture and artwork (and shared bathroom), plus a rooftop studio.
