Kekčeva Domačija

The enchanting Kekčeva Domačija, off the main road and 700m past the source of the Soča, has rooms named after characters in the Kekec children’s tales (the eponymous movie was filmed nearby in 1951). It’s a delightful spot, with fabulous food (€85 delivers half-board). There are lovely walks and views, and even a small rock pool for cooling off.
