This always-busy bar and bistro is attractively decked out and sports a no-nonsense menu of old favourites – from haddock and chips or home-made lasagne to sausage and mash with onion gravy – spiced with a few more-sophisticated plates such as local scallops, and better-than-average vegetarian choices.
