The Fish People Cafe

A subway-station forecourt is an unlikely spot to find a seafood restaurant of such quality, but pop out of Shields Rd and here it is. The adjacent fish shop supplies the raw materials for simple but perfectly prepared dishes that shine with quality. Service is also exceptionally welcoming. It's opposite Scotland Street School, but worth the trip from anywhere in town.
