Gandolfi Fish

This welcoming and approachable place, with a takeaway outlet alongside, is an offshoot of the ever-popular neighbouring Café Gandolfi. Attractive art and comfortable seats grace a spacious venue, where well-put-together dishes evidence plenty of thought behind the scenes. Scallops are delicious and the catch of the day is excellent. There's a good two- or three-course menu deal (£13/19) from lunchtime until early evening.
