Malonda Lodge

With attractive thatched-roof cottages overlooking a little lagoon and a gorgeous private beach, Malonda Lodge, 18km south of Pointe-Noire, is perhaps the loveliest hotel in Congo, nurtured with great care by owner Grace and her husband Gérard. It's a perfect respite from Pointe-Noire, but can be reached in around 30 minutes from the city.
