Smetana Hall

Staré Město

The unique Smetana Hall, centrepiece of the Municipal House, is the city’s largest concert hall, seating 1200 beneath an art-nouveau glass dome. The stage is framed by sculptures representing the Vyšehrad legend (right) and Slavonic dances (left). It's the home venue of the Prague Symphony Orchestra (Symfonický orchestr hlavního města Prahy; www.fok.cz), and stages music performances of all kinds.
