Ohya Shobō

Kōrakuen & Akihabara

In business since 1882 (but with an active Twitter account), Ohya Shobō specialises in books, maps and ukiyo-e (woodblock prints) dating back to Japan's Edo period (1603–1868). Originals cost hundreds or thousands of dollars (and are snapped up by collectors), but the shop also stocks well-made reprints starting at only a few thousand yen. Staff are happy to assist.
