Teatro Emperador Caltzontzin

On the northern side of Plaza Chica and cheek by jowl with the Biblioteca Gertrudis Bocanegra, this ornate structure was a convent until it was converted into a theater in 1938. Today it functions as a 460-seat art-house cinema screening an occasional Hollywood blockbuster.
