Anthropology Museum

Southeastern Iran

Housed in the Zand-era Soltani House with its two mini mosque-like iwans, this seven-room museum is unusually well arranged – the mannequins have a degree of personality, and the lamp collection, for example, shows a logical progression by era, rather than simply filling up display cases.

There's a collection of locally used medicinal herbs in the Hakim room and giant dyeing vessels in the 'winter' porch.
