France’s National Museum of Natural History, the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle, within the Jardin des Plantes, incorporates the Galerie de Minéralogie et de Géologie, which has an amazing exhibition of giant natural crystals and a basement display of jewellery and other objects made from minerals.
