Hop Inn Hotel Ermita

Manila

This is a big (170-room), bright, no-nonsense hotel with cheery service to match the decor. The colourful rooms are somewhat bare-bones but blissfully fabric-free and include a flat-screen TV, a long desk and a lone plastic chair. The 'view' rooms give a glimpse of the Manila Bay sunset but are louder than the standards.

The entire hotel is nonsmoking. An import from Thailand, a second branch has opened in Poblacion, Makati, and more will open around the country.
