In a characterful old building in a prime location, Amaru is deservedly popular. It is certainly the only Cuzco hotel with a complimentary welcome massage (worth it). Flowerpots sit outside well-kept rooms with heating, some with rocking chairs to admire the rooftop view. Rooms in the outer courtyard are noisy, and those at the back are newest.
