Queenstown

Despite being located at the heart of a faux-Tudor resort, this restaurant and bar is an unexpected oasis of cool that's well worth the 3km schlep from the town centre. Dishes are relatively simple but beautifully cooked (chicken, lamb, ribeye steak) and are designed to be mixed and matched with vegetable dishes and shared.

Grab a table on the lower level and there's the sense of almost being on the lake.
