Live like a kasbah dweller has for centuries. Seven rammed-earth rooms ring a central sky-high courtyard, with smooth tadelakt (waterproof plaster) walls and palm-frond mats. Instead of TV, there’s stargazing on the roof terrace over a delicious dinner, and stellar views of the palm grove by day. The kasbah organises hikes and tours, and part of its profits go to village projects.
