Soufiane Zarib

Marrakesh

Soufiane Zarib has gained a reputation for his quality textiles: he buys his own wool and employs his own weavers to produce carpets that are distinctly Moroccan in style, yet made to his own designs. Ring the bell to be admitted into his airy showroom, where shoppers can browse rugs, handpicked ceramics and furniture in peace. Prices range from Dh1000 to €10,000.

At the time of writing, a contemporary cafe with shady parasol seating was about to open on the rooftop.
