Dar Soukaina

Marrakesh

It may lack the polish of posher places, but if you want to sample riad-living without breaking the bank, French-owned Dar Soukaina is a solid option. The two connected houses come with banana-tree-shaded courtyards, cosy cushion-scattered nooks and graceful archways. The decent-sized rooms have big, comfortable beds, wood-beam ceilings and slightly worn tadelakt (waterproof plaster) bathrooms.
