Moroccan embroidery is a signature of Les Marrisiennes' Parisian-designed, Marrakesh-made fashions, but there's nothing traditional about these pieces, which take Moroccan icons such as babouches (leather slippers) and fez hats and turn them into patterns for floaty skirts and loose shirts. Designer Chloe Place produces two limited collections a year, bringing a mix of fun prints and simple, contemporary Moroccan style to her medina shop.
