Funduq El Ouarzazi

Marrakesh

This slightly decrepit funduq (inn once used by caravans) is a dream come true for shoppers who enjoy poking about in pursuit of treasure as much as the actual buying. Around 40 cubby-hole shops have claimed space over two floors; a clutter of traditional jewellery, Amazigh artefacts and dusty antiques. Accept a mint tea from the shopkeepers and hunt away.
