La Dune Blanche

Top choice in Draa Valley

Surrounded by low dunes 20km south of the village of Tagounite, accommodation here is in pisé (rammed-earth) cottages dressed with fabric to mimic the feel of a tent. Salah meets you at Tagounite gas station with a 4WD to take you the remainder of the way.

Each 'tent' has a different colour and is furnished with comfortable beds dressed in natural woollen blankets, carpets and cut-metal lanterns, which cast swirling patterns on the walls. From here, any number of excursions are possible. Given the location, it is necessary to book in advance.
