New in 2019 though decorated like a stylish ranch with stone arches ringing tranquil courtyards, Descanso is indeed 'restful' with its simple metal beds. Only the passageway-facing windows and lack of a lift might not be for everyone. The surrounding area is among the museums, bars and restaurants of the 'artist area' and an easy stroll to the zócalo.
