This beachside restaurant wins the popular vote, though for newcomers it can be difficult to find. Choose from its 'legendary salads,' tapas, burgers, and daily fish and seafood specials chalked up on the blackboard. It's in Anse Cafard, 3km west of Le Diamant, accessed from the D37 via the delightfully named Allée de la Bonne Humeur.
Note that the beach here is a scrappy affair.
