Velton Inn

After a few nights upriver, the Velton Inn's cool, spacious air-con rooms and slick bathrooms with excellent rainforest showers could be just what you need to recharge your travel batteries. Opened in 2017, the Velton also features a modern cafe downstairs that whips up coffees of every persuasion. The cheapest double rooms have no windows. It's at the edge of downtown Bintulu, with plenty of places to eat nearby.
