More English than a Graham Greene novel, this beautiful stucco-pillared villa, with its manicured croquet lawn, bay views and wicker chairs parked under a giant mango tree, is great for the ambience, as well as high tea. English standards, such as shepherd's pie and fish and chips, tend to disappoint, however, and service slows down when the tour groups arrive.
