Jesselton Hotel

KK's first post-WWII hotel is plush and charming with its pink marble lobby, Persian carpets and baby grand piano. A colonial theme runs through to the rooms: Rungus bed runners, dark-wood panelling, botanical prints above the beds and small but marble-heavy bathrooms. The soundproofing could be better, but if you're after colonial character, this central hotel has it.
