This small guesthouse gets high marks for its amiable English-speaking owners, 24-hour front desk and shaded upstairs balcony where you can meet fellow travellers. There's also free tea and coffee all day. Most rooms have lovely teak walls, but try for the upstairs ones, which get more sunlight.
