Al Diwan Restaurant

It feels pricey if you've been snacking on street food all day, but the restaurant at the Ambassador is one of East Jerusalem's best places to eat. Puffy pita breads emerge from the charcoal-fired oven and are heaped onto tables alongside smoky grilled meats, green wheat soup and great pizzas. Rather than the so-so dining room, enjoy this bounty on the verandah.
