Hiraraya

The genial, English-speaking Hiro presides over this laid-back spot where young neighbours and friends cruise in to hang out. Accommodation is available in a dorm with huge curtained bunk beds, or a Japanese-style private room. All guests share the facilities, which include a big kitchen. Look for the doorway curtain that says 'Hiraraya' down the side of the quiet lane.
