Kanpira-sō

Two minutes' walk from the ferry landing in Uehara, this hospitable minshuku has basic Japanese-style rooms and an informative manager who produces extraordinarily good bilingual maps of the island (although little English is spoken here). From Uehara Port, turn right on the main road; you'll soon see it on the right.
