Tonkatsu Ichiban-tei

Finding a decent tonkatsu (deep-fried pork cutlet) joint can be a transcendental – or at least rather comforting – Japanese culinary moment. Ichiban is number one in town and has a picture menu. Look for the pig statue out front.
