Behind a geometric lattice facade, this shop specialises in mentaijū – mentaiko (spicy cod roe, a Fukuoka delicacy), wrapped with savoury kelp and served over rice and flaked seaweed in a wooden box. Pick up a tag at the entrance to choose your spice level. Set menus with seafood tsukemen (ramen noodles served with dipping sauce) are intense and satisfying.
