If you're seeking something out of the ordinary, opt to stay at the singular, utterly delightful Casa de Hamaca. Run by Japanese runner and world traveller Sekiyama Tadashi, this is probably the only accommodation in Japan outfitted solely with hammocks and with a Spanish-speaking proprietor. The inn is not suitable for families, which creates a more relaxed, kid-free vibe.
