Hakuba Panorama Hotel

Not far from Happō-One Ski Resort, this place has bilingual Japanese staff and a variety of room types. There's a guest laundry and a wonderful onsen. Best of all, though, is the ground-floor Hakuba Taproom, with craft beer, big screens for sports and frequent live music. You know it's good when locals come here, too.
