In 2019 a gourmet food hall landed in Genoa's oldest market, offering nearly a dozen different stands. You can dine on wood-oven-fired pizzas, pastas, burgers, focaccia, panini, tacos and fresh seafood. A square bar stands at the centre of the vast 19th-century hall, and there's also a wine bar and a high-end restaurant helmed by the celebrated young chef Daniele Rebosio.
The market also houses a small culinary academy and a baking institute.
