Named after the nearby hotel, Hilton Beach is divided into three parts: the city’s unofficial gay beach is in the middle, the dog-walkers' beach is to the north (it’s the only beach where dogs are officially allowed), and surfers hang ten near the breakwater in the south. This bay is also used for kayaking and windsurfing activities and lessons.
