Jacks' Coastguard Restaurant

Top choice in Ring of Kerry

A door at the back of this village pub, housed in an 1886 coastguard station, leads to a striking contemporary restaurant with picture windows looking out across Castlemaine harbour to the Dingle hills. Seafood, such as steamed Cromane mussels, or Cajun-spiced monkfish, is the standout, but there are also meat and vegetarian dishes, and a good kids' menu.
