Wicklow Heather

This long-established rustic family restaurant serves breakfast through to dinner amid the honeyed glow of polished wood. The globe-trotting menu ranges from Wicklow lamb, wild venison, Irish beef and fish (including excellent trout) to satay dishes, Cajun chicken, and tomato and basil arancini. Its Writers Room houses a display of Irish literary memorabilia; there's also a well-stocked whiskey bar.
