Bush Hotel

The Midlands

Dating from the 18th century, this family-run place is one of Ireland's oldest in-town hotels. Black-and-white photos abound in the public spaces, while the 60 rooms, split between the original building and modern rear wing, are more contemporary. Irish history buffs can check into the Michael Collins room (Room 1), where the independence leader stayed in 1917.

Family rooms come with a double and two single beds.
