Jembatan Kota Intan

Jakarta

At the northern end of Kali Besar is the last remaining Dutch drawbridge. Built in 1628, it was originally called Hoenderpasarbrug (Chicken Market Bridge), because it was close to a chicken market. The restored 30m bridge was converted to a drawbridge in 1938 to allow boats to pass and to prevent flooding. You can walk on it for an ideal photo stop.
