Apotek is set in one of the city's most iconic buildings – a well-renovated, former pharmacy smack in the centre of Old Reykjavík, which dates from 1917 and was designed by Guðjón Samúelsson. It offers slick contemporary rooms in muted tones and a popular ground-floor tapas-style restaurant-bar.
