This fabulous, recently relocated cafe is as close as you’ll find in 21st-century Budapest to the old-style intellectual hangouts that were so prevalent and popular under communism and before. Though they do food (dishes 600Ft to 1500Ft), the main foci here are drink – coffee or something stronger – and, of course chat. Lots of it.
