Anse du Souffleur

This long, gently arching beach in northwestern Grande-Terre has soft, pale sand, lapis-lazuli waters and fabulous views of mountainous Basse-Terre in the distance. Despite being very popular at weekends, it remains gently developed, with just a couple of simple restaurants – and instead of hotels at one end there's a large cemetery!
