Local historian Thoukididis Papageorgiou restored this building, and his daughter Joanna runs the kitchen. The short menu makes use of only seasonal ingredients, and everything, from simple boiled vegetables to more elaborate stews, is flawlessly prepared. A fireplace keeps it cosy in winter, and upstairs is a six-room guesthouse (doubles from €80), if you decide you never want to leave.
